The Government of Canada, supports the role of the Canadian Partnership for Consumer Food Safety Education in raising awareness among consumers of the four practices of Clean, Separate, Cook and Chill and their importance to protecting health. Be Food Safe was introduced in Canada to bring renewed focus and a fresh new look to the four core food safety practices of Clean, Separate, Cook and Chill.
This bold new Be Food Safe creative platform has been developed specifically for and with input of leading retailers and suppliers, industry and government. It is designed to remind consumers about important safe food handling practices at the places where they shop for food.
Retailers, food and consumer product companies and other organizations interested in promoting these preventative health messages are invited to work with the Partnership.
